1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the QuickTranslate Chrome extension ("Extension"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the extension.

2. Description of Service

QuickTranslate is a comprehensive productivity tool designed for academics, researchers, and language learners. Key features include:

• Instant text translation and PDF/Image OCR translation.
• Spaced Repetition System (SRS) Vocabulary Flashcards and Visual Memory practice.
• Bionic Reading Mode, Reader View, and YouTube Dual Subtitle support.
• Persistent Web Highlighter and Pomodoro Study Timer.
• Support for custom API keys (OpenAI, DeepL) for enhanced summarization and translation.

3. License and Device Restrictions

QuickTranslate Pro is a premium product developed by SlimPDF. Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension subject to the following:

• Usage: Right to use the extension for personal and academic purposes.
• Device Limit: Each license key can be activated on a maximum of 2 (two) different devices (browser installations) simultaneously.
• Lifetime Access: Purchased licenses are valid for a lifetime and require only a one-time payment, unless otherwise specified.

4. User Responsibilities & API Keys (BYOK)

You agree to use the extension legally and responsibly. If you choose to integrate your own OpenAI or DeepL API keys, you are solely responsible for any costs incurred and for complying with the terms of service of those respective providers.

5. Disclaimer of Accuracy

QuickTranslate utilizes third-party APIs (such as MyMemory, DeepL, OpenAI) for translation and AI features. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the translations or summaries provided. Results are for reference only.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights associated with QuickTranslate, including but not limited to its design, source code, icons, and branding, are the exclusive property of SlimPDF and are protected by international copyright laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Extension is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. SlimPDF shall not be held liable for any damages arising from translation errors, service interruptions, technical failures, or changes in third-party API availability.

8. Pricing and Refund Policy

• Payment: All transactions are processed securely through our authorized payment provider, Paddle.
• Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the product, once a license key has been delivered and activated on at least one device, no refunds will be issued.
• Technical Issues: If a license key is proven to be non-functional due to a technical error on our part, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Extension without notice if you violate these Terms (e.g., through license sharing or unauthorized automation). You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Turkey.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through extension update notes. Your continued use of the Extension after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
